What cookieless measurement means

Cookieless is not the same as no data collection. Google can receive limited event and consent signals, such as the page visited, time and browser-related information, without reading or writing analytics cookies. These signals support aggregate measurement and modelling. They do not provide the same session history as cookie-based measurement. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied in every option.

Storage used by this website

Our preference record is stored in this browser’s local storage as softtask-india-consent-v1. It records the choice, notice version and time for up to 180 days and is used only to remember your preference. If storage is unavailable, a choice applies to the current page and we may ask again on another page.

• With analytics cookies allowed, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_YKT6NR2ZWK to distinguish visits and sessions. We configure a maximum cookie lifetime of 180 days without refreshing expiry on each visit; Google or browser controls may shorten it.
• If you withdraw cookie permission, we request deletion of accessible Google Analytics cookies used by this site. Previously collected information is not automatically deleted.
• Cloudflare hosting and Turnstile process technical signals for security and form protection. These essential functions remain available regardless of analytics choices.

Change or withdraw your choice

Open Cookie preferences in any page footer. Choose a measurement option and save, or select Turn analytics off. The full opt-out prevents the Google tag loading on subsequent pages. On the current page it disables further measurement; requests already sent cannot be recalled. Browser extensions and privacy settings may also prevent analytics.

Data minimisation and contact

We configure page URLs and referrers without query strings or fragments and do not deliberately send enquiry fields, newsletter email addresses or search text to Analytics.
